Passionate About Helping the Community

Lee Platt is not only the founder and driving force behind the Flemington Punk Rock Flea Market.  Lee is a local resident determined to give back to the community by bringing celebrity guests and creative artisans three times a year for an epic fundraising event held at the Flemington Elk's Lodge.

Flemington held it’s first Punk Rock Flea Market held at Edge Sports in November 2012.  Guests included Author Nick Kisella, Ghost Hunters Bruce Tango and Legendary Punk drummer Dr. Chud. Since it's inception, the FPRFM  featured other celebrity guests available for autographs and photos such as former child actor Scott Schwartz of "The Toy" and "A Christmas Story" fame, professional wrestler Sabu, and iconic "Cochise" actor David Harris from the cult classic film "The Warriors".  Collectors, artists, and unique vendors are set up around the room displaying their rare and uncommon goods for purchase as a handful of food trucks set up outside the building to tempt your taste buds.

The main goal of every FPRFM events is to feed the hungry through donations, whether it be monetary ($2 entry fee) or by bringing a non-perishable food item to get into the event for free. All door proceeds are donated to the Flemington Area Food Pantry.
